Holiday Art with a Heart

  Child Nutrition Foundation (CNF) is proud to announce its first ever fundraiser in Davis, California. We are raising money for the child malnutrition prevention program – “Adopt a Mother & Save her Child” for underprivileged women and children in villages around Kolkata, India. The program  is implemented by CINI (Child in Need Institute).   Please visit www.childnutritionfoundation.net/Projects for more information on the program. The art workshop will be conducted by local Davis artists Jen Nachmanoff and Binuta Sudhakaran. Budding young artists will take home tote bags with their own artwork on them as well as create a life size collaborative mural superimposed on an Indian landscape. The workshop will be followed by an auction of artwork by prominent Davis artists, as well as goodies from local sponsors such as  Davis Food Co-op, the Avid Reader, YoloBerry Yoghurt, Swim America, Rocknasium, Starbucks and Mother & Baby Source among others. The auction is free to the public. Come join us for this fun-filled workshop! It is open for children from ages 2-8yrs. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult.
