Pooja is a Business Intelligence analyst based in the Silicon Valley. Fuelled by a strong desire to see every child healthy and happy, she became a founding member of Child Nutrition Foundation. As President, she identifies and manages projects implemented and supported by CNF. Pooja is a runner, a reading enthusiast and most importantly – a mom.
Conrad Seales is a CPA and a partner at Meisser & Seales, LLP. He has served on the Board of various non-profits providing governance, tax and compliance advice, developing annual budgets and raising funds.
Conrad enjoys working with exempt organizations as part of his accounting practice, doing both paid and pro-bono work for various local and international organizations. He is thrilled to help CNF achieve its goals.
Renuka Gusain, PhD – Strategic Development Director
Renuka is an educator, a Shakespearean, and a writer. She is a global citizen who has grown up in diplomatic communities around the world and has taught at universities in India, US, and Brazil. She has been a long-term contributor to various charitable organizations. However, it was with the birth of her son that the harsh reality of children wasting away from malnutrition and disease took on a deeply personal meaning. She has since been very keen to use her skills and talents to help mothers and children in need.
As the Strategic Development Director, she helps forge strategic partnerships and network with various entities to achieve CNF’s short and long-term goals.
Cindy Soper – Fundraising Director
Cindy brings an array of skills to CNF including research, creative input, idea generation, grant writing and grassroot fundraising.
As an active supporter of CNF, she was moved by stories of the children whose treatment she helped fund. As a teacher, she believes in educating and empowering people to create sustainable models of living rather than hand-outs. With her personal beliefs and CNF’s mission in alignment, Cindy joined the Board to provide critical leadership and creativity to create a solid financial base for the organization.
Ganesh Kamath – Advisory member
H.Ganesh Kamath was born and raised in Trichur, Kerala state in India and came to the U.S for higher education. He worked in the field of healthcare for over three decades and has always been passionate about child education, health, and welfare. He supported St Jude’s children’s hospital financially for many years.
Mr. Kamath is a founding member of Child Nutrition Foundation and served as its President for the first 2 years.
Allyson Koh – Intern – Randomized Control Trials
Allyson is currently a junior studying Chemistry and Public Health at Santa Clara University. Ever since her study abroad experience in Denmark, she has become passionate about global health issues. She is particularly avid about improving the health of children and looks forward to working as the Randomized Control Trial intern. After she graduates, she hopes to take a year off to travel and volunteer abroad. Ultimately, she plans on attending medical school. She is so grateful to be working with the Child Nutrition Foundation and hopes to be able to make a difference for children in India!
